Tehreek-e-Islah-e-Taaleem Trust

Dr. Muhammad Amin emphasizes that education, training, and research hold fundamental importance in Islam. In the Qur’an, Allah has repeatedly emphasized that the teaching of the Book and Wisdom, along with the purification of the soul, constitutes the essential methodology bestowed upon the Last Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) for propagation, guidance, and the establishment of religion. Hence, the survival, strength, and ascendancy of the Ummah even today depends upon this very methodology. Unfortunately, in Pakistan, the modern education system has become thoroughly Westernized, while the system of the traditional madrasahs remains disengaged from worldly sciences. As a result, neither modern institutions nor seminaries are producing the balanced individuals required by an Islamic society. Both systems therefore stand in need of reform. It was for this purpose that Tehreek-e-Islah-e-Taaleem was founded.
